In October Kurgan meat processing plant “Standard” was honoured to represent Kurgan region on Moscow’s world-famous Red Square and “The Golden Autumn” food festival that gathered hundreds of food producers from far and near. The exhibition was opened by Dmitry Medvedev, Head of the Government of the Russian Federation, and visited by thousands of Moscow citizens and tourists. Among special guests were Qu Dongyu, Head of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, and Dmitry Patrushev, Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
The ten-day festival started on October 4 and amazed visitors from its very beginning. Crowds of tourists and citizens flooded Red Square to see fields of sun-gold wheat, emerald-green pastures, wild gardens and a most rare collection of agricultural machinery. To crown the show, there was the food to get everyone in the mood, with restaurants chalets and food stands proudly presenting an assortment of products from all over Russia. The festival guests eagerly sampled and purchased meat delicacies and other farmer-grown products from across the country.
Kurgan meat processing plant offered the festival guests a mouth-watering variety of meat delicacies, canned meats and sausages. Our products definitely won the hearts of thousands of consumers and boasted high popularity throughout the festival. It was with greatest enthusiasm that our visitors tasted liver pastes, ham, canned beef, sausages and meat delicacies.
Needless to say, we were proud to see Kurgan meat processing plant among the festival’s most visited and trusted participants, and happy beyond words to witness the popularity our products enjoyed during the exhibition in the very heart of Russia. We will be delighted to make a triumphant return to Moscow in 2020, with a wider assortment and greater enthusiasm, and take Red Square by the storm!
